Most of what keeps your money safe at an Anjouan casino sits in three places you can open before a first deposit: the licence seal in the footer, the general terms and the account settings. Each answers a different part of the question, and none takes long.
What should you check before your first deposit?
Four things on the casino’s own site, each quick to open and read.
- The seal opens a live record. At Smash Casino and CleanWins, the seal in the footer opens the authority’s record for that licence, which reads valid and names the web address you are on (CleanWins hides its seal from visitors in several countries, so use the company in its terms there). Wildies prints no licence line on its own pages, but wildies.com is on its row in Anjouan Gaming’s public list of licences, which shows the addresses each licence covers.
- The company matches. The company in the general terms should be the same one the seal or the list shows.
- Your country is not excluded. The seal record and the terms both list the countries a casino does not serve. If yours is there, that casino is not one for you.
- Withdrawals come in figures. Clear terms give times and limits as numbers. Smash Casino and Trixino process a withdrawal typically within three banking days (that is processing, before the payment travels, and Smash asks for an ID check first), with limits of €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month. Wildies’ terms allow up to 72 hours for processing, while its FAQ says 48 business hours.
Zizobet, Cosmobet and Velobet name a Curaçao licence instead, and the seal in their footers opens a certificate that reads active. The same four checks work there too.
What must every Anjouan casino do for you?
Keep your money apart from its own and show you the rules before you pay anything in. The authority’s licence conditions set these duties for every casino it licenses:
- Player balances held separately from the money the casino runs its business on.
- Terms shown before any transaction, with the bonus, wagering and withdrawal conditions set out clearly.
- Games tested independently, with the random number generator certified by an approved testing lab and the rules, odds and payout information on show.
- Age and identity checks on every account, alongside self-exclusion and deposit and loss limits (the standards require those two limits; the table below shows what each casino describes).
- Approved web addresses only, with the seal shown only while the licence is active, because only an active licence authorises a casino to operate.
- A named dispute-resolution provider in the terms, from the start for new licences and by the next renewal for existing ones.
Our Anjouan licensed casinos page lists which casinos hold this licence and what each is like to play at, and our overview of Anjouan online casinos compares their games and payments.
Which terms work in your favour?
Several clauses protect the player, and they sit in the small print where they are easy to miss.
- Balances you can read at a glance. Wildies shows real money, bonus money and free spins separately, with a history of every round you play.
- Payments only in your name. Wildies and Cosmobet accept only cards and wallets registered to the account holder, as do Win Place, LuckyWave and ShelbyWin, so nobody else’s card can be tied to your account.
- A bonus you can turn down. WinBeast lets you refuse a bonus, or cancel it before wagering starts, and your own funds stay yours.
- Jackpots and the limits. Velobet, Cosmobet and Zizobet state in their terms that progressive jackpot wins are paid in full, and Zizobet also leaves jackpots out of its maximum win per bet. Weekly and monthly withdrawal limits and instalments on very large sums are set out separately in the same terms.
- Big withdrawals paid in parts. Zizobet and Cosmobet pay a sum above their limits in instalments.
- Identity checks that guard your balance. At Smash Casino and Trixino a document review typically takes 48 hours, and a selfie or a short call, as at Wildies, stops anyone else from cashing out your money.
Two habits round this off. Many casinos ask for a deposit to be played through once before it can be withdrawn, and the cashout times guide sets that rule out casino by casino. Some terms also charge a monthly fee on an idle account, or close one left unused for months, so withdrawing what you are not playing with before a long break keeps your balance in your hands.
How is a complaint settled?
Save the chat transcripts, e-mails and payment receipts first, then follow the route the casino’s licence sets. Under an Anjouan licence you complain to the casino through the form in its licence seal, and if the complaint is still open once the operator’s 30 days to answer have passed, you may take it to one of the authority’s approved dispute-resolution providers, at the operator’s cost. Casino terms can set shorter claim windows, such as 7 days for a game outcome at Smash Casino and Trixino and 3 days at Wildies, so raise a problem early. Newly issued licences must name a provider, existing ones by their next renewal, so where the terms name none, ask support. The Anjouan licence check sets out the time limits and each step.
Zizobet, Cosmobet and Velobet follow their Curaçao licence instead: the casino first, and if the matter remains unresolved, a certified ADR provider under the Curaçao rules.
How do you keep your play in check?
With the limits and breaks the casinos already offer, set before the first deposit while the choice is still an easy one. Here is what four of them let you set:
| Casino | What you can set |
|---|---|
| Wildies | Daily, weekly or monthly limits on deposits, net losses and stakes, a session-time limit, a cooling-off period and self-exclusion through support |
| Smash Casino | Deposit, bet and loss limits, a session-time limit, a cool-down of 1 to 48 hours and self-exclusion by e-mail, from a day to indefinitely, or through a form for at least six months |
| CleanWins | A 7-day cooling-off period and self-exclusion by e-mail |
| Trixino | Deposit, bet and loss limits, a session-time limit, a cool-down of 1 to 48 hours and self-exclusion by e-mail, from a day to indefinitely, or through a form for at least six months |
At Wildies a lower deposit limit applies at once and a higher one only after at least 24 hours (its FAQ says a limit takes effect the next day or at the start of the next week or month), so a limit cannot be raised on impulse, and a self-exclusion does not reopen on its own. Trixino’s responsible-gambling page also links to GamCare’s self-assessment tool and to the BetBlocker and GamBan blockers.
Which guide fits your next question?
Each guide on the site handles one part of the decision. Start with the one that matches the question in your head:
| If you want… | Open | What you will find |
|---|---|---|
| a shortlist first | Best Anjouan casinos | The ranked order, with the reason behind each place. |
| to weigh a welcome offer | Anjouan casino bonuses | What sits behind the headline figure. |
| to choose between two similar casinos | Compare Anjouan casino sites | A side-by-side reading order. |
| to understand a score | How we rate Anjouan casinos | Where scores come from and what counts most in them. |
Whatever any guide says, this one included, the casino’s terms in force on the day decide how your account is treated.
