CleanWins Casino review: wagering, cashback and payouts

How does the CleanWins welcome wagering add up?

The Welcome Pack counts your deposit as well as the bonus, so the target is 40 times both together, inside 10 days. The largest stake allowed while it runs is €5 or 5% of the bonus, whichever is lower, which means a small bonus brings a smaller top stake. Two deposits, worked through:

Slots, scratch cards and the classic and fun games count in full. Roulette counts at 10%, and live-casino games, blackjack, video poker, craps and baccarat do not count at all. Using a slot’s gamble feature, betting with little or no risk and stakes above the cap are restricted play under the bonus rules. Your real money is played first (26.3), only one bonus runs at a time, and a withdrawal has to wait until the bonus is finished (26.9.2). Where a campaign’s own terms are silent on it, clause 26.9.1 limits what a welcome bonus can turn into to 10 times the bonus, €2,000 on a €200 bonus, and a reload to 5 times.

The 200 welcome spins play at €0.10 each, so they are worth €20 in stakes, and they stay on Big Bass Bonanza. What they win joins the wagering. How these spins compare with other casinos’ is in our page on free spins at Anjouan casinos.

What do the weekend cashbacks and the wheel add?

This is where CleanWins stands out for regular slot players: four of its offers pay without any wagering.

• Slot cashback: it counts your net losses on slots from Friday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, UK time, and lands on Monday. Activate it from your account before it expires, or it is lost.
• Live casino cashback: over the same weekend, 5% of your net losses at the live tables. Ask support for it once Sunday is over. If you qualify for both cashbacks, only the larger one is paid.
• Wheel of Fortune: the first deposit of the day earns one spin, as long as no other bonus is active. A bigger deposit puts you on a higher wheel, with prizes on slots such as Gates of Olympus, Starlight Princess and Curse of the Werewolf Megaways, and the Level Up sector gives another spin with the rewards doubled.
• Refer a friend: give support your friend’s username in chat; once they register, verify their account and deposit €20, support links the two accounts. You get €5 and your friend 10 free spins, with no wagering on either, and your own account needs to be verified too.

The homepage also runs a Friday Happy Hour from 16:00 to 23:59 UTC.

Which slots and tables can you play?

The lobby is built for browsing slots: Top, New, Megaways, Bonus Buy, Book of, Jackpots and Casual rows, plus a “Surprise me” button that picks a game for you. Its Hot Games and Cold Games lists put a percentage beside each slot, above 100% on the hot list and well under it on the cold one.

The games come from studios such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Microgaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Thunderkick, Evoplay, Booming Games, Iron Dog Studio, Gamomat and Amigo Gaming. The live casino has its own roulette and blackjack sections, and there is no sportsbook. The site comes in English, German, Greek, Czech, Hungarian and French.

How much can you withdraw from CleanWins each week?

Up to £5,000, or the same amount in another currency, in any 7 days and £15,000 in any 30 days, and VIP players can have different limits (8.6, 8.6.1). Winnings are capped at £100,000 a day (8.9). Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, and a different method is possible only after extra security checks (8.4). Before your first deposit, ask support which payout methods your account can use, the minimum withdrawal and how long a payout takes. How that compares with other casinos is in our guide to how quickly Anjouan casinos pay out.

• Play your deposit first: clause 8.2 asks for your deposits to be played through once before a withdrawal, and in its next sentence mentions five times. A request that falls short may be refused or charged an administrative fee of up to 8%.
• One larger request beats several small ones: several withdrawals within a rolling 30 days carry a fee of up to 8% of the amount withdrawn (8.7).
• Leave a pending withdrawal alone: the money stays in your playable balance, and if the balance drops below the amount requested, the request is cancelled after up to an hour (8.10).
• ID check: any withdrawal, or more than €5,000 in deposits in total, starts a full check with a photo ID, a selfie holding it and a bank statement or utility bill from the last three months, by the KYC policy, and clause 8.3 lets the casino ask for ID at any time.

Is cleanwins.com the real CleanWins?

Yes. Sites such as cleanwins.uk, cleanwinscasino.uk and playcleanwins.com show up in searches for the name, and none of them is on the licence. Three quick checks confirm you are in the right place:

• The address: the casino is at cleanwins.com.
• The seal: clicking the seal at the foot of the page opens a check page naming cleanwins.com, Onimim Ltd and licence ALSI-192407051-FI3, with the operating status “VALID”.
• The licence list: the Anjouan licence register shows the same number with cleanwins.com on its row.

The same three checks work for any casino, and our guide to checking an Anjouan licence takes you through each one.

Which casino is CleanWins’ sister site?

SlotRoyals. Both footers name Onimim Ltd and licence ALSI-192407051-FI3, both route Paysafe payments through the same Cyprus company, and both cap withdrawals at £5,000 in 7 days and £15,000 in 30 days.

• CleanWinscleanwins.com
• SlotRoyalsslotroyals.com

SlotRoyals suits e-wallet payers: its cashier lists cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, Neteller and Jeton. Our SlotRoyals review covers its welcome offer, studios and payments.

What if a payout or a bet is disputed?

Start with support in chat or by email. CleanWins aims to answer within a few days and at the latest within 28 days (21.3). A disputed bet has to be raised within three days of being settled (21.4); if support cannot solve it, the case goes to management and then to arbitration (21.5, 21.6).

The licence adds a route of its own. Through the complaint form in the seal at the foot of cleanwins.com, you have 14 days for a game dispute and 30 days for an account matter, and the operator has 30 days to answer. After that you can take it to one of the dispute-resolution services the Anjouan authority approves, at the operator’s cost. The authority works in English, waits for the operator’s 30 days first, and takes no complaint from its excluded countries, the UK among them. Our guide to complaint routes at Anjouan casinos explains each step.

Where can you play, and how do you pause?

The KYC policy’s restricted countries include Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the Comoros, the UK and the USA, with their territories, and its terms rule out getting round that list (3.4). Our notes for readers in the UK explain how bonuses, complaints and self-exclusion work at a casino like this one.

For a pause, the responsible gaming page offers a 7-day cooling-off period. Self-exclusion is arranged by email to support@cleanwins.com, and the terms allow up to ten business days to act on a properly made request; they set a minimum of 24 hours and the responsible gaming page a minimum of three months, so state the length you want in the email. The terms note that Anjouan has no shared self-exclusion register (6.9.7), so ask SlotRoyals as well if you want a break from both.
