Which welcome pack should you pick?

Pick the pack for the way you play. The promotions page sets out three, each over several deposits, and the wagering on the slots pack is the lightest of the casino packs. By its FAQ, wagering is counted on the bonus.

Each part has its own cap, shown in your account currency. Only one bonus can be active at a time, buying bonus features in a slot is not allowed while one runs (7.9), and bonus money left unused for a month may be cancelled (3.5.5). What a bonus and the deposit played with it can win is capped at 25 times the bonus, and a sports bonus at 10 times (7.10). How much can you withdraw, and how fast?

The daily and monthly limits above shape a bigger cash-out more than anything else. You can have one withdrawal pending per payment method and, depending on the method, send one request every 24 hours (6.11). The terms set the smallest withdrawal at €50 (6.13), though the operator has quoted €100 in replies to players, so check the figure in the cashier. Requests are typically processed within three banking days (6.6), and by the FAQ e-wallets are usually faster than bank transfers. Winnings are capped at €100,000 a day (5.7). • Deposit played through: your first deposit has to be wagered at least once, and a withdrawal may be refused while your total bets are less than your last deposit (6.5).
• ID check: any withdrawal, or more than €2,000 in deposits in total, starts a full check with a photo ID, a selfie holding it and a bank statement or utility bill (8.5). Send the documents within 2 days of the request (8.10). Reviews typically take 48 hours (8.9) and up to five business days, a period the casino can extend (8.11).
• Fees: the FAQ says Smash Casino charges none on deposits or withdrawals, and the terms say it absorbs deposit fees in most cases (4.16), while clause 4.17 allows a preset percentage for processing. Your payment provider may add a charge of its own.

How do you check you are on the real site?

Sites with names such as casinosmash.co.uk and casino-smash.uk show up in searches for the casino, and none of them is among the addresses its licence covers. Three quick checks settle it:

• The address: the casino itself is at smash.casino. In some countries the site forwards visitors to a mirror such as smash5.casino, which is not on the licence list, so run the next two checks on smash.casino.
• The seal: clicking the seal at the foot of the page opens a check page that names smash.casino, Softon and licence ALSI-202409012-FI1 with the status “valid”.
• The licence list: the Anjouan licence register lists that number with the ten Softon addresses.

Where does a complaint go?

Live chat is the quickest place to start, and the terms aim to settle a chat complaint within two weeks; for a complex one they promise to contact you within eight weeks with an answer, or with the reason it is not ready yet and when to expect it (15.3). If chat does not solve it, email it within 7 days of the incident (15.6): the terms give softoncompany@gmail.com and the dispute page gives complaints@smash.casino, so send it to both. The terms aim to answer an email complaint within 60 business days, a period that can run longer, for example while they wait for details they asked you for (15.7, 15.8). The outer limits are 7 days to raise a game result and one month for a payout, account or bonus matter (15.4).

The licence has a route of its own, and the Anjouan authority asks for complaints to go first through the complaint form in the seal at the foot of smash.casino: within 14 days of the session for a game dispute or 30 days for an account matter, with 30 days for the operator to answer. Filing there early keeps that window open while you talk to support. The seal page says it takes no complaints from its excluded countries, the UK among them. What should you know before you sign up?

The terms do not let you play from the UK, Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Cyprus, Australia, the USA or the Comoros (3.1.2), the KYC policy adds Curaçao and the other Dutch Caribbean islands, and the terms bar any way round that list (3.4.13). Inside the account you can set limits on deposits, bets and losses, and a time limit for each session. Deposit and bet limits run for a period from 24 hours to a week, and within that period you can lower them but not raise them.
