What do the casinos’ terms say about the United Kingdom?

Five casinos name it; ten leave it off their lists. Every casino’s general terms carry a clause on restricted or prohibited countries, and that clause is its own word on who may open an account. Here is each one, deal brands first.

Casino What its terms list United Kingdom
Wildies The USA, its territories and FATF-listed countries (4.1.3); players must be where online gambling is allowed (4.1.2) Not named
Smash Casino United Kingdom, USA, FATF-listed countries and others (3.1) Named
Trixino USA, Netherlands, France, United Kingdom, Australia and others (3.1.2, 3.4.4) Named
CleanWins Its KYC policy and country list name the United Kingdom; the terms page itself is silent on countries Named
Zizobet Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Lithuania, Netherlands, Georgia, Saba, St Maarten, USA and FATF-listed countries (3.7) Not named
Cosmobet The same list as Zizobet Not named
Velobet The same list as Zizobet Not named
WinBeast A long list of restricted countries and territories, Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar among them Not named
ShelbyWin Afghanistan, Cuba, Curaçao, Iran, Israel, North Korea, Serbia, USA and others (4.6) Not named
Mad Casino Australia, Austria, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom and USA Named
SlotRoyals Residence in a jurisdiction that allows gambling (3.3); its licence seal lists the United Kingdom among the excluded territories Named in the seal
7Gear A long list of restricted countries and territories, Spain among them Not named
Win Place USA, Malta, Georgia, Poland, Belarus and Russia (3.1) Not named
LuckyWave The same six countries as Win Place (3.1) Not named
AmunBet 36 countries, among them the USA, Israel, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Lithuania and Ukraine (3.1) Not named

A country missing from a list is not an invitation. Several casinos here, Wildies, SlotRoyals, WinBeast, 7Gear and ShelbyWin among them, also accept players only where gambling is lawful and put that check on the player, so the clause in the general terms is worth reading before the bonus headline.

What changes when the rules are the casino’s own?

Three things: what limits a bonus, where a complaint goes, and how self-exclusion works. Each casino writes its own.

  • Bonuses. Each casino’s own bonus terms set the wagering multiple and the time allowed. Our guide to reading bonus terms shows where to look.
  • Complaints. A dispute goes to the casino first, then along the route its licence sets out, described below.
  • Self-exclusion. Self-exclusion, cooling-off periods and deposit limits are tools each casino runs itself, set on your account there.

What does an Anjouan licence ask of a casino?

It commits a casino to three duties toward its players. The seal, issued by the Anjouan Gaming Board and displayed by SlotRoyals, Mad Casino and 7Gear on the register, requires the casino to offer a complaint process ending, if needed, with an approved dispute-resolution provider; responsible-gambling tools such as self-exclusion and deposit limits; and certified random number generators for fair results.

These are the casinos Anjouan licenses, and not every casino here is among them. Zizobet, Cosmobet and Velobet show a Curaçao licence in their footers. Win Place’s own site names an Anjouan licence, though its domain is not on the authority’s list, and LuckyWave’s home page names a licence from Costa Rica. Smash Casino, Trixino and CleanWins sit on the Anjouan register, which the Anjouan licensed casinos page lists brand by brand.

Where does a complaint go?

To the casino first. Where the casino shows an Anjouan licence, the seal sets the steps. Complain through the form in the seal, in English: within 14 days of the session for a disputed game result, within 30 days for account matters such as payments, blocks or bonuses. The operator has 30 days to answer. If the complaint is still open after that, you may take it to one of the authority’s approved dispute-resolution (ADR) providers, at the operator’s cost. The authority itself does not decide individual complaints, and the process does not cover players from territories the licence excludes.

Whichever route applies, keep every chat, e-mail and payment record from the first contact. A complaint is far easier to follow when its timeline is on paper.

Which terms should you read before signing up?

Four clauses decide most of what happens after registration. Here is where each one sits.

Clause Where it sits What to look for
Restricted countries General terms Whether your country is named, and whether play is limited to where gambling is lawful.
Identity checks General terms, verification section Which documents are asked for and how many days you have to send them.
Playing a deposit through Payment terms Whether a deposit must be wagered before a withdrawal is allowed, and how many times.
Withdrawal limits Payment terms Daily, weekly and monthly ceilings, and whether they fall for low-play accounts.

When a clause is unclear, one message to live chat before you register usually settles it, and the reply is a record you can keep. Our cashout times guide takes the payment terms further, casino by casino.

In what order should you read a casino’s pages?

  1. Open the casino’s review from the list of Anjouan online casinos.
  2. Read its restricted-countries clause before the bonus headline.
  3. Read the bonus terms and the payment terms together, not one without the other.
  4. Check the licence it names and the complaint route that goes with it.
  5. Set a deposit limit before the first deposit, while the decision is still a calm one.
